I've been making things with my hands for as long as I can remember. I learned to cross stitch at my mother's side, and to crochet under the guidance of my grandmother — surrounded, always, by sewists and crafters who never seemed to stop working with their hands. I didn't just learn stitches from them. I absorbed years of skill, patience, and quiet creativity just by watching. I'm still carrying that forward.I spent my career in nonprofit operations before deciding it was time to make more room for that creative thread I'd carried since childhood — quilting, needlepoint, and eventually, finishing. This business feels less like a new direction and more like a calling I'm finally answering.To me, finishing a canvas is the start of something — a relationship, really. You hand me a piece you've spent weeks, sometimes months, stitching, and I get to carry it the rest of the way: from canvas to something you'll use and live with.
